Lucy D. Bowen

	Lucy D. 'Doug' Bowen, 74, of Cutler, passed away at 1:30 a.m. Friday, March 28, 2003 at her home.
	Mrs. Bowen was a homemaker and a member of Reformed Presbyterian Church in Cutler.  She was born Wednesday, March 27, 1929 in Winkle, the daughter of Frank W. Hepp Sr. and Flossie Mae Dempsay Hepp.  She married Teddy G. Bowen Sr. on October 28, 1946 in Cutler and he preceded her in death on February 24, 1992.
	Surviving are one son, Teddy  G. 'Butch' (Teresa) Bowen Jr. of Morris; three daughters, Dana (Gussie) Tallo of Steeleville, Barbara (Sam) Macaluso of Burr Ridge and Paula Summers of Wilisville; grandchildren, Marlene and Rick Schlein, Bret Rosendohl, Terry and Valerie Nagel, Carl and Lisa Saul, Sammy, Jeremy and Julie Macaluso, Garrett 'Cody' Summers and Kylee Summers; great-grandchildren, Richard, Emily and Angela Schulein, Kassandra 'Casey' Nagel and Joelle Saul; five step-grandchildren; four step-great-grandchildren; five brothers, Wayne Hepp of Campbell Hill, Frank Hepp Jr. of Cutler, Ralph Hepp of Willisville, Denny Hepp of Freeburg and Larry Hepp of Willisville  and two sisters, Wanda Rednour, Du Quoin and Minta Hepp of Willisville.
	She was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers and one grandson.
	Funeral services were Sunday, March 30 at 2 p.m. at Reformed Presbyterian Church in Cutler with Rev. Mike Higgerson officiating.  Interment was in Cutler City Cemetery.
	Friends called at Wilson's Funeral Home in Steeleville after 6 p.m. on Saturday and from 7:30 a.m. until 12 p.m. on Sunday, then from 1 to 2 p.m. at the church.
	Memorials may be made to Hospice of Southern Illinois or the American Cancer Society.
